Monticello Association

Shackelford, George Green. Collected Papers of the Monticello Association of the Descendants of Thomas Jefferson Volume I & II. (Charlottesville VA: Monticello Association, 1984). These two books have great essays on family members (descendents) and a chapter on ancestors. It also has a map of the graveyard.

The Monticello Association owns the graveyard at Monticello and is independent from the Thomas Jefferson Foundation, Inc.. The Association is primarly concerned with lineal descendents of Thomas Jefferson. (The family coming from his two daughters, Maria and Martha.) It may not have records on Thomas Jefferson's relatives or other members.
