We are currently recruiting to fill the following positions:

Director of Marketing and Public Relations. The Director will provide leadership in the areas of marketing, branding, public and media relations, and publications while working closely with the Executive Vice President to ensure consistent messages.

Responsibilities
  • Support Foundation net revenue goals and constituent engagement goals for tourism, retail sales, special events, and fundraising via development of robust multi-channel marketing strategies.
  • Develop and implement Foundation-wide integrated marketing plan encompassing earned media, social media and online marketing, print collateral, and advertising tools.
  • Coordinate external printed and electronic communications sent by Foundation departments.
  • Quantify and report impact of marketing programs and manage marketing budget.
  • React quickly to take advantage of changing business conditions and opportunities.
Requires bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in marketing or related field, minimum of 5-7 years experience in managing marketing and communications programs with national brands, and at least 3 years of management experience including staff development. A thorough knowledge of media relations, direct marketing and online strategies including circulation planning, modeling, and customer acquisition strategies is essential. Significant experience in managing online marketing, social media, graphic design, video, and photography services is vital. Deadline to apply is April 2, 2010. Marketing Specialist. This position will assist our marketing and communication professionals in the areas of marketing, branding, public and media relations, and publications.

Responsibilities
  • Support Foundation net revenue goals and constituent engagement goals for tourism, retail sales, special events, and fundraising through various multi-channel marketing strategies.
  • Create compelling email and social media campaigns and cultivate relationships with the media.
  • Assist with coordination of external communications.
  • Collaborate with department managers in furthering key strategic partner relationships and programs.
Requires a bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or liberal arts and a minimum of 2 years experience in supporting marketing and communications programs. Must be knowledgeable of media relations and communications and social media. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and must be able to manage an array of strategic and tactical marketing projects with multiple partners. Successful candidates will possess strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with people at many levels in different departments. Deadline to apply is April 2, 2010.
